This weekend, Sony’s Spider-Man: No Way Home will be the third movie in history to get over the $800 million milestones domestically as if it had not recorded enough already. The superhero spectacle is ready to earn $1.85 million on its 15th weekend while the running domestic total reaches $800.4 million.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($936 million) and Avengers: Endgame ($858 million) are the other two projects making over $800 million domestically (of course, unadjusted for inflation). No Way Home has surpassed successful films such as Black Panther, Avatar, and The Avengers. In the global scope, the film has earned about $1.9 billion after its numbers had broken record in December.

It is true to say that No Way Home accomplished approximately as well as it would have in normal times without pandemics. It is so confusing to imagine just how successful it would have been if there is no COVID-19 pandemic in the world. However, in spite of many factors, No Way Home still has considerable records of its name. It is the greatest-grossing movie of 2021, the greatest-grossing Spider-Man movie, and the greatest-grossing movie made by Sony. Furthermore, it recorded the domestically second-biggest opening weekend of all time ($260 million), behind Endgame, had the largest December debut of all time, and became the first movie as Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019 to make over $1 billion at the global box office .
