The duration of Sony Pictures’ next animated sequel movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, has finally been made public.
The eagerly awaited animated film has a total running time of 2 hours and 16 minutes, making it one of the longest animated movies to date, according to information on the AMC Theatres website. Additionally, it lasts 20 minutes longer than Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which won an Oscar in 2018.
The current release date for Across the Spider-Verse is June 2. The Boogeyman, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Elemental, The Flash, and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will all make their debuts the same month as it.
Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson are the film’s three directors. It stars Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Issa Rae as Spider-Woman, Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Jake Johnson as Peter B.
