Shea Whigham and Jorma Taccone have joined the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse voice cast, according to Sony.

The Annecy Festival in France recently included Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The initial glimpse at The Spot was eventually posted online, but the further video was screened behind closed doors. Shea Whigham and Jorma Taccone will provide their voices for the sequel, which was also announced during the event.
Kingpin was the major villain in the first Spider-Verse film, with a gender-swapped Doctor Octopus, The Prowler, Tombstone, Scorpion, and Green Golbin serving as supporting characters. Jorma Taccone will reprise his role as Vulture in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Joker star Shea Whigham voices Gwen’s dad, George Stacy, who is described as a “by the books cop.” Below is a synopsis of the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse video including George Stacy and Vulture exhibited at the Annecy Festival with a new poster.
Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Justin K. Thompson, and Kemp Powers from a screenplay written by Christopher Miller, Phil Lord, and Dave Callaham, the animated film features the voices of Shameik Moore, Issa Rae, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Shea Whigham, and Jorma Taccone.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is currently set to be premiered on June 2, 2023.
