
The news was revealed as part of the Netflix TUDUM fan event. Season 3 of “Sex Education” premiered on Netflix on September 17.
The series is set in England at the fictitious Moordale Secondary School. It centers on student Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), the son of renowned sex therapist Dr. Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson). Despite his lack of experience with the other sex, Otis realizes that he has an exceptional talent for giving sex advice to his classmates with the assistance of Maeve Wiley (Emma Mackey), a troubled girl with a smart intellect, and his closest buddy Eric Effiong (Ncuti Gatwa).
The series’ ensemble cast also consists of Connor Swindells, Alistair Petrie, Mimi Keene, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Aimee Lou Wood, Tanya Reynolds, Mikael Persbrandt, and Patricia Allison. Jemima Kirke made her debut as Hope, the new headmaster of Moordale, in Season 3.

The show was created by Laurie Nun, who also acts as an executive producer. Other executive producers are Jamie Campbell and Ben Taylor.
