See How They Run, Searchlight Pictures’ 1950s murder thriller, has received its debut trailer. You can see it above.

The film, starring Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan, is set in London’s West End, where preparations for a film adaptation of a smash-hit play are put on hold after a key member of the production is killed.
In the trailer, we meet world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Rockwell) and enthusiastic rookie Constable Stalker (Ronan), who take up the case and are pushed into a perplexing whodunit among the glamorously dirty theatrical underworld, investigating the unexplained killing at their own risk.
In addition to David Oyelowo, Ruth Wilson, and Adrien Brody, the cast includes Harris Dickinson, Sian Clifford, Reece Shearsmith, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, and Pippa Bennett-Warner, Shirley Henderson, Charlie Cooper, and Paul Chahidi.
Tom George is directing his first feature film. He previously directed the BBC comedy series This Country, which aired from 2017 to 2020, as well as the 2018-2019 comedy Defending The Guilty.
See How They Run, written by Mark Chappell and produced by Damian Jones and Gina Carter, will be released in select cinemas in North America on September 30.
