The key figures from Secret Invasion are highlighted in the promotional images, including Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Jackson teases is a change from her past performances since “she’s coldblooded and simply likes being that person.”
Based on the same-named comic book narrative written by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu, Secret Invasion is a motion picture. The Skrulls, an extraterrestrial race with the power to shape-shift and assume the appearance of anybody they want, are the central characters of the plot. In order to gain control of the world, the Skrulls have infiltrated Earth’s culture and are covertly replacing influential people with members of their own race.
