
A brand-new trailer for Scream VI, in which Ghostface goes on another murdering rampage, this time in New York City, has been published by Paramount. The film is a direct sequel to Scream from 2022, which received favorable reviews and made $140 million at the global box office. View the trailer down below.
Along with the Scream VI trailer, Paramount also unveiled the movie’s poster, which includes Ghostface and the movie’s key actors.
From a story by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, Scream filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett helm VI. Kevin Williamson, who founded the franchise, is executive producing the film. As producers, William Sherak and Paul Neinstein are also involved.
Hayden Panettiere, Mason Gooding, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Courteney Cox, and Jasmin Savoy Brown are all returning to their Scream roles in VI. Among the newcomers to the franchise are Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving, and Tony Revolori.
The horror icon Neve Campbell’s portrayal of Sidney Prescott is absent from Scream VI for the first time in the series. When an offer was made to Campbell for the movie, she declined it since it did not meet her needs. In an interview, Campbell stated that he did not feel that what he was being offered matched to the value that he contribute to this franchise and have brought to this franchise for 25 years.
