In its debut week on HBO Max, Robert Pattinson‘s The Batman knocked out Zack Snyder‘s Justice League, The Suicide Squad, and other DC pictures.
Following its March theatrical premiere, The Batman made its streaming debut on HBO Max last week. The DC picture has been a runaway hit for Warner Bros., raking in $750 million globally. According to Samba TV’s U.S. audience, Robert Pattinson-led The Batman got off to a flying start with its HBO Max debut.
It was estimated that The Batman whirled up $4.1 million viewers on Samba TV. This number places Robert Pattinson’s hit above other DC films, including The Suicide Squad ($3.5 million), Wonder Woman 1984 ($3.2 million), and Zack Snyder‘s Justice League ($2.2 million).
The Batman also outperformed The Matrix Resurrections ($3.2 million) and Dune ($2.3 million) in its debut week on HBO Max. Mortal Kombat was the only picture to attract more viewers in its debut week on the streaming service, grossing $4.3 million.
