According to a recent study, The Batman was the most popular DC Comics film of 2022.

A data science business called Parrot Analytics offers a Global Content Demand measuring system that gauges consumer demand for TV series and movies across numerous platforms and regions using big data analytics and artificial intelligence. The Batman outperformed Black Adam and DC League of Super-Pets as the most popular DC movie of 2022, according to Parrot Analytics.

The popularity of the Dark Knight and the prominent cast lead by Robert Pattinson are two aspects that are likely to have contributed to the desire for The Batman. In addition, the movie’s marketing effort, which featured trailers, posters, and products, further increased fan excitement.

The popularity of the DC Comics property as well as the rising desire for superhero movies in recent years may both be credited with The Batman‘s success. The future of these characters appears more promising than ever thanks to James Gunn and Peter Safran, who are working on an eight- to ten-year plan for the DC Universe.

The Batman: Part II is scheduled to open in theaters on October 20, 2025, according to the heads of DC Studios. Returning to the director’s chair, Matt Reeves also co-wrote the script with Mattson Tomlin.

In March 2022, the motion picture The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson as the title DC Comics character, debuted in theaters. It took in $770.8 million at the global box office, ranking it seventh among all movies released in 2022.
