Billy Boyd, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Elijah Wood all spoke out in support of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power‘s diverse cast.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power boasts the most diverse cast of any Middle-earth project to date, which, regrettably, has led to some online users making racist and sexist remarks. Critics have given the pricey series for Amazon favorable reviews, although others don’t believe it is loyal to author J.R.R. Tolkien’s writings.
Actors from Peter Jackson’s original Lord of the Rings movies are now coming out against the offensive remarks made online. A photo of Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, and Elijah Wood supporting the diverse Rings of Power cast was posted on Twitter. Sean Astin joined the conversation on Twitter in favor of the cast. You may view both postings and buy products, with 50% of sales benefiting a POC-supporting organization.
The Rings of Power cast also commented on the current internet criticism:

The remaining cast includes Sophia Nomvete, Ismael Córdova, Tyroe Muhafidin, Charlie Vickers, Megan Richards, Joseph Mawle, and Daniel Weyman.
