A fresh storyboard for Riddick 4: Furya gives us our first glimpse at Vin Diesel‘s character’s comeback. The fourth live-action entry in the Riddick franchise is Furya. The film follows Riddick from 2013, and it is presently uncertain if there will be any sequels. Riddick 4 has been stuck in production hell for a long time, but Diesel has kept fans updated on its progress, revealing details like the title and the idea that it would most likely go into Riddick‘s beginnings.
Diesel starred as the antihero Riddick in Pitch Black (2000), which launched the Riddick franchise. While the picture got mixed reviews at its first release, it has now become a cult classic and has spawned a whole franchise. Three feature films, one television adaptation, and three video games have so far been released under the Riddick series. There are also comic books that have been created based on the tale and characters. Diesel first disclosed Universal’s plans to make a fourth Riddick picture in 2014, and would subsequently unveil the Furya title. Now that Diesel has shared additional Riddick 4 info, it appears like production is progressing.
Diesel has revealed fresh storyboard slides from Riddick 4: Furya on social media, showing his character’s comeback. The photographs show Diesel‘s character wearing what looks to be a spacesuit up close. Riddick has a troubled expression on his face and his eyes are blazing.
