20th Century Studios’ Predator prequel, Prey, has unveiled its first full-length teaser, accompanied by a poster highlighting the film’s new hunter.

Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey revolves around Amber Midthunder’s Naru, a competent warrior, striving to defend her people from a highly-evolved Predator. According to the teaser, Naru desires to become a great hunter despite being told she cannot. However, she quickly discovers that she is the target of a hunt and must battle for survival.

The teaser promises chills and thrills in a new era of the Predator franchise, which takes place a long time before the previous installments. Below are the new trailer and poster for the film.
Dan Trachtenberg is at the helm of Prey based on a screenplay by Patrick Aison. The film’s cast members feature Amber Midthunder, Stormee Kipp, Dakota Beavers, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope.
Prey is slated to premiere on Hulu exclusively on August 5, 2022.
