Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage has been on board in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
The first round of films in The Hunger Games series had an all-star ensemble headed by Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence. It looks like Lionsgate is striving to replicate that success with its forthcoming prequel as Peter Dinklage becomes the latest big star to join the series.
Peter Dinklage will take on the role of Casca Highbottom, dean of the Academy and inventor of the games, in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
Peter Dinklage is a familiar face in the world of franchises, having played in X-Men: Days of Future Past and Avengers: Infinity War in addition to his critically acclaimed tenure on Game of Thrones.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is due to swoop into cinemas on November 17, 2023.
