Two more Olympian gods have been added to the Percy Jackson cast.

According to reports, Lance Reddick (John Wick) will play Zeus and Toby Stephens (Black Sails) will play Poseidon in the Disney Plus series Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Walker Scobell, who plays Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon, was shown with Reddick and Stephens on the official social media channels for the series, confirming both actors’ appointments. It is depicted in the image below.
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series on Disney Plus is currently being starred by Walker Scobell. His closest friends Grover Underwood and Annabeth Chase are played on-screen by Leah Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri, respectively. The cast includes Virginia Kull, Glynn Turman, Jason Mantzoukas, Megan Mullally, Timm Sharp, and Dior Goodjohn. Charlie Bushnell, Olivea Morton, Adam Copeland, Suzanne Cryer, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jay Duplass, and Timothy Omundson are also in the ensemble cast.
After being suspected of taking Zeus’ lost lightning bolt himself, Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Walker Scobell follow him as he travels across America in quest of it. The son of the Greek deity Poseidon, Percy is a demigod who meets up with other demigods at Camp Half-Blood.
During Disney’s D23 Expo, the first Percy Jackson and the Olympians official trailer debuted, providing fans with a sneak preview of the series. This is the second Percy Jackson book adaptation, following a series of movies with Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, and Brandon T. Jackson.
The Disney Plus series’ pilot was co-written by Percy Jackson author Rick Riordan and Jon Steinberg, and it was directed by James Bobin. Together with his co-producer Dan Shotz, Steinberg is also in charge of the show. It is being made for Disney Plus under the banner of 20th Television.
