Percy Jackson and the Olympians, a new Disney Plus series, debuted its first trailer at D23 Expo.

The fantasy series is based on the Rick Riordan book series of the same name. Two films based on the series were previously produced in the early 2010s. Walker Scobell, who starred in The Adam Project, will play Percy Jackson, the demigod son of the Greek deity Poseidon, in the Disney Plus series.
The series’ debut teaser gives viewers a glimpse of Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell, as he arrives at Camp Half-Blood.
The voiceover in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians trailer is Walker Scobell’s portrayal of Percy Jackson offering a terrible warning to his fellow half-bloods or demigods.
Percy Jackson, played by Scobell, will be followed in the Disney Plus series as he embarks on a journey across America in pursuit of Zeus’s missing lightning bolt after being accused of stealing it. Percy encounters other demigods at Camp Half-Blood who accompany him on his journey.
