It’s coincident that the first set photo of the cast from the forthcoming Disney Plus series Percy Jackson and the Olympians be unveiled on the titular character’s birthday.

This is a fresh new theatrical adaptation of the famous Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series. Film adaptations of the series have been done before, with the first appearing in 2010 and the second in 2013.
Walker Scobell, who currently stars in The Adam Project, will take on the role of Percy Jackson in the series that will be available to stream on Disney Plus.
Fans of the books will know that Percy Jackson’s birthday is August 18; thus, Disney Plus has released the first official shot of the series’ principal cast on set in celebration of the event.
In the newly released photo, Walker Scobell is shown beside Leah Jeffries, who portrays Annabeth Chase in the series, and Aryan Simhadri, who portrays Grover Underwood. This picture gives fans their first official look at the cast of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” working together on site as they are dressed in character.

‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ chronicles the adventures of Scobell’s Percy Jackson as he travels throughout America in the hunt for Zeus’s stolen lightning bolt. Percy is trying to clear his name after being suspected of stealing the lightning bolt himself. Demigod Percy Jackson, who is the son of the Greek god Poseidon, teams up with other demigods in Camp Half-Blood.
