Percy Jackson and the Olympians has cast 13-year-old The Adam Project Walker Scobell as its title character.
This new series, adapted from Rick Riordan’s novels, stars Scobell as 12-year-old modern-day demigod Percy Jackson, who is accused by the sky god Zeus of stealing his master lightning bolt just as he is He’s just recently come to grips with his newly discovered magical skills.

Percy now has to go throughout the United States to seek it and bring order back to Olympus.
Riordan and Jon Steinberg will pen the screenplay of the pilot episode, which will be helmed by James Bobin. Steinberg and Dan Shotz is behind the series as overseers.
