Director Anthony Byrne has just shared a new set photo of Peaky Blinders, a crime thriller. Only 1 week left, the hit drama will make a highly-anticipated come back to the screens.
BAFTA contender Stephen Graham takes on the role of gangster Tommy Shelby in what will be his last appearance on television (at least on the small screen). Shelby will come into conflict with fascist politician Oswald Moseley (Sam Claflin) and a new character portrayed by BAFTA winner Cillian Murphy.
Byrne directed the fifth season of Peaky Blinders, which aired in 2019, and he will reprise his helming role in this sixth season. In an Instagram post, Byrne praised the production team for their efforts in replicating the period setting of the show.

Photos of Murphy between shots show him in his now well-known Tommy Shelby outfits, surrounded by a mask-clad crew working.
In another photo on Byrne’s Instagram, we get a full-color look at the show’s impressive set. The filmmaker stands in the middle of a cobbled street to hark back to his time working on the show.

The official Peaky Blinders Twitter account also posted the first picture, mentioning Byrne as the person who took the picture.
