Officer Exchange, John Cena‘s newest feature project, is currently in the works at Amazon Studios.
Officer Exchange is a comedy-action film starring the former WWE Champion as Shep, a policeman who sets out to India and partners up with a local officer to chase down diamond smugglers. Cena will reunite with producers from his popular Suicide Squad spin-off Peacemaker in the project, which will include a script penned by Evan Turner and Ben Zazove.
John Cena has kept himself quite busy in the years after stepping down as the face of World Wrestling Entertainment on a full-time basis. Cena has starred in everything from huge tentpoles like F9 and The Suicide Squad to streaming exclusives like Peacemaker and Hulu’s Vacation Friends, demonstrating a comedic aptitude as well as a propensity for villainy.
