Fans of the historical pirate comedy Our Flag Means Death on HBO Max have been craving updates on the impending second season and the return of Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby) and his crew. David Jenkins, the creator, and writer of the series has now shared a little teaser of the screenplay for the season 2 premiere.
Jenkins shared a photo of the cover of the screenplay for the first episode of the imminent comeback of the series on his official Twitter page:
Our Flag Means Death is a comedy series set in the Golden Age of Piracy and partially inspired by the life of Stede Bonnet, the Gentleman Pirate. Bonnet leaves behind his simple and comfortable life in Barbados in order to prove himself as a pirate. He and his unlikely crew aboard his ship The Revenge embark on a series of adventures during which they cross paths with numerous historical figures, including Edward Teach aka Blackbeard, portrayed by Taika Waititi.
Season 2 of Our Flag Means Death has not yet been given a release date, however, all episodes of Season 1 are available to stream on HBO Max.
