The most recent poster for Oppenheimer, the illustrious new film by Inception filmmaker Christopher Nolan, has been made available by Universal. On July 21, the biographical drama is expected to hit cinemas.

The American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, whose contributions to the Manhattan Project resulted in the development of the atomic bomb, is shown in a flaming flame on the poster as played by Cillian Murphy.

The first film Nolan has written and directed for Universal since departing Warner Bros. after Tenet’s commercial success is Oppenheimer. The film was based on the book by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, J. Robert Oppenheimer: The Triumph and Tragedy. Nolan, his wife Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven of Atlas Entertainment will all produce.
Emily Blunt plays Oppenheimer’s wife Kitty, Matt Damon portrays Manhattan Project director General Leslie Groves Jr., Robert Downey Jr. plays Lewis Strauss, the first commissioner of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, and Florence Pugh plays psychiatrist Jean Tatlock in Murphy’s ensemble.
Benny Safdie, Michael Angarano, Josh Hartnett, Rami Malek, Kenneth Branagh, Dane DeHaan, Dylan Arnold, David Krumholtz, Alden Ehrenreich, and Matthew Modine are all included in the ensemble.
Large-format film cameras such as the IMAX 65mm and 65mm were used to capture the epic biography. Oppenheimer will contain segments in IMAX® analog black and white photography for the first time.
