Robert Oppenheimer by the late Martin J. Sherwin and Kai Bird is the inspiration for Oppenheimer. Cillian Murphy portrays Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicist whose work on the Manhattan Project resulted in the atomic bomb’s development.
The identity of Thirlby‘s character has still been kept under wraps.
Nolan is directing from his own script and co-producing with Emma Thomas and Charles Roven of Atlas Entertainment. The film is slated to premiere in cinemas on July 21, 2023. New Mexico, California, and New Jersey are the locations for production.
Thirlby‘s most recent appearances were Y: The Last Man on FX and The L Word: Generation Q on Showtime. Juno, United 93, No Strings Attached, The Darkest Hour, The Wedding Ringer, White Orchid, and Above the Shadows are among her feature film credits.
