Two new One Piece Film: Red posters, both of which feature Luffy in his new pirate garb, have been unveiled in an effort to raise anticipation for the film’s theatrical debut.
New World Arthur discovered and shared the updated movie posters on Twitter.
Even though there are already a ton of movie promotional materials, these two new images provide viewers a much closer look at Luffy and the rest of the key characters.
We start with a picture of Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat team:
You can clearly see Luffy’s new appearance in this picture, which includes a giant pirate helmet, a big leather jacket with studs, a white t-shirt with a skull and bones motif, and red shorts. Along with other accouterments, a sword completes Luffy’s appearance.
The remaining members of the Straw Hat Pirates dress identically, with the majority of the crew donning a version of Luffy’s studded jacket.
Here is a glance at the second poster in the interim:
In contrast to the previous image, which shows the entire crew, this second poster just shows Luffy, Uta, and Shanks. Luffy is once more donning his new pirate garb, but this time you can see the finer details.
While Shanks is dressed as usual with a solemn expression, Uta is enjoying herself while watching in her stage gear with wings.
It is not surprising that One Piece Film: Red issued the two promotional posters because the movie is centered on these characters.
The next One Piece Film: Red, directed by Eiichiro Oda, will debut in Japanese theaters on August 6, 2022.
The most well-known singer in the world, Uta, is performing at a concert, and the movie follows Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew as they go. But when Luffy confesses that Uta is Red-Haired Shanks’ daughter, the crew is taken aback.
In the fall of 2022, the next One Piece film will be released in theaters outside of Japan, including the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and more.
