Universal Pictures has dropped a new Nope TV spot for Jordan Peele‘s highly anticipated horror-thriller flick.
The release date for Nope is currently set for July 22, 2022. The picture will have no direct competition upon its theatrical release, although it will be rolled out in the same month as two high-profile superhero flicks, Thor: Love and Thunder and Black Adam. The TV commercial has both new and previously seen footage from prior trailers.

Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya is set to star in Nope, which marks the reunion with Peele after the success of Get Out in 2017. Joining him are Keke Palmer (Hustle) and Oscar contender Steven Yeun (Minari), a familiar face to the horror genre after his leading role in The Walking Dead. Further details regarding the project’s narrative and characters are currently being shrouded in secrecy; but, similar to Peele‘s previous two directorial films, it is anticipated that the film will be a psychological horror-thriller that is interwoven with socially aware issues relating to race and society.
Jordan Peele, who previously won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for his directorial debut picture Get Out, is in charge of both the writing and directing of this movie. He has previously directed the 2019 picture Us, starring Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke.
