Taking place thousands of years after the events of The Lord of the Rings, The Rings of Power will introduce fans to a vastly different Middle-Earth. It will delve into the origin of the titular rings and the rise to power of Sauron.
A new teaser highlights all of the kingdoms and races that will be in the series, anticipating the impending conflict against a resurgent evil.

The teaser establishes Galadriel’s journey throughout the series, showing that she has taken up her fallen brother’s struggle against the forces of darkness. However, her companion elves do not seem to be persuaded that there is still a battle to be fought.
Even though the new series seems to revolve around Galadriel, the trailer also gives viewers a glimpse at some of the other Middle-Earth inhabitants, such as the Harfoots and the Dwarves. In addition, a wide variety of bizarre critters and creatures may be seen, including a glimpse of the fresh take on Orcs.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is due to hit Amazon Prime Video on September 1st.
