The first look at Stranger Things 4‘s haunted home setting, spooky new creatures, and return of Jim Hopper‘s character David Harbour has been revealed in Netflix’s latest poster.
The majority of the series’ primary cast will return for the fourth season, as seen on the poster. It picks up where the startling finale of Stranger Things 3 left off, in which Jim Hopper and Billy Hargrove sacrificed themselves, yet the first trailer for Stranger Things 4 hinted that Hopper escaped his apparent death and will make a comeback. The first teasers for the film had Hopper serving in the Soviet military, and the newly released poster gives us a fresh look at his shaven head appearance.
In addition to the returning characters, the poster gives a glimpse of the haunted house teased in the trailers, as well as a menacing grandfather clock that looks to play a significant role in the new series. In the background, bat-like monsters soar above while the series’ latest villain, Vecna, is gazing into the series’ heroes. Check out the new season poster below:
The fourth season of the Netflix series Stranger Things seems to be on track to bring in all the horrors and weirdness that fans have come to expect from the Netflix’s series. The season will be divided into two volumes, with the first debuting on Netflix later this month and the second coming in July.
Stranger Things is a science-fiction TV series picked up in 1980s Indiana. It revolves around a group of friends as they find supernatural forces and government experiments in their tiny town. The series has garnered widespread critical praise, with four Golden Globe nominations and three Grammy nominations.
While the release of Season 4 hypes fans up, these new episodes will mark the beginning of the end, since the Duffer Brothers, the show’s creators, have stated that Season 5 will wrap up the Stranger Things series.
Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 is set to be out on Netflix on May 27, while Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 will premiere on July 1.
