A new video from the imminent Ms. Marvel series on Disney+ has hit the web, and in it, Kamala Khan is shown making preparation to go to a party with her parents.
The footage begins with Kamala’s mother, Muneeba, allowing her daughter to attend an “Avengers party” as long as she accompanies her father and adheres to a tight time restriction. Things take a slight change, though, when Kamala’s mother shows off a dress she fashioned particularly for her daughter, based on The Incredible Hulk. Then, her father stormed into the room dressed in a costume of his own, and with his face painted green.

Iman Vellani, a rookie to acting, makes her debut as Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel, which also marks the live-action debut of the beloved Marvel character. Also joining Vellani are Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Mohan Kapur, Zenobia Shroff, Matt Lintz, Laith Naki, Travina Springer, Yasmeen Fletcher, Azher Usman, and Nimra Bucha.
Executive producers Meera Menon, Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy are in charge of directing Ms. Marvel, while executive producer Bisha K. Ali is on board as the show’s chief writer.
