Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will serve as the final movie to help usher in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which may seem absurd to some fans. The fourth phase of the MCU will conclude in a few months. Naturally, most of you are already aware that the sequel will usher in a new Black Panther for the series. For the greater part of the previous two years, T’Challa’s replacement’s identity has remained a major secret.

Marvel Studios has obviously done its best to keep things as secret as possible, but as the release date of Wakanda Forever draws near, it appears that the studio is no longer trying to keep the identity of the next Wakandan hero a secret—and chances are, you already know who they are. Recent Black Panther movie tie-in merchandise essentially established who was wearing the mask.
An epic fight between the Wakandans and the movie’s villain Namor the Sub-Mariner, played by Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta, is shown in a new LEGO set for the sequel that has started to appear in stores across the United States. Unsurprisingly, the aforementioned set also includes Black Panther, and if you look at the back of the box, you’ll notice a helmetless version of the LEGO Minifigure which looks much like Shuri.

It goes without saying that Shuri taking over as the next Black Panther is already a given, and despite the current controversy surrounding Letitia Wright’s portrayal of her, you can’t deny the fact that her character is the only viable contender for the position.
On November 11, 2022, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is slated for cinema release.
