This weekend, Netflix made a documentary about US Olympic Basketball available. This movie will follow the rise of the 2008 Men’s National Team, along with executive Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. For those who don’t know, James and Wade were both on the basketball squad that year. After a demoralizing performance at the 2004 Olympics resulted in them returning to the United States with a bronze medal, they adopted the name “Redeem Team.” The team religiously prepared in order to reach the summit, and they played several memorable games against Argentina and Spain on their way to winning the gold. Kobe Bryant admirers should also keep an eye out for this documentary. The Black Mamba was crucial in establishing the culture for a younger team. The United States won the Gold Medal match against Spain because of his outstanding performance. With The Last Dance, which was also available on Netflix, ESPN had a huge smash on their hands. Now, the streaming service wants to recreate this contemporary tale of redemption. View Netflix’s comments about the project in the section below.
Previously, James and Netflix worked together on the Hustle movie starring Adam Sandler. Pretty almost everyone who watched it enjoyed the basketball project. When the Redeem Team documentary debuts on the service, the streamer certainly expects more of the same.
