We already know that Mortal Kombat is receiving a sequel, but who will be in it? Interestingly, Max Huang has just released a cryptic tweet that might indicate Kung Lao’s comeback!

Kung Lao‘s death in the first film is quite evident. But is it still feasible that he will appear in the follow-up film? Recently, Max Huang uploaded a video of himself practicing some martial arts techniques. The co-creator of Mortal Kombat quickly retweeted the image and demanded that Huang wear a motion capture outfit. The video is as below.
Mortal Kombat 2 is undoubtedly in the works, with Moon Knight screenwriter Jeremy Slater penning the script. Additionally, it was disclosed that Simon McQuoid will return to helm the sequel. None of the performers, though, have been confirmed to play their roles again in the film.
The only actor that has so far been confirmed to appear in a future Mortal Kombat movie portrayed a role who died in the original film. Joe Taslim’s multi-picture contract with the brand was already made public.
