The availability of Jared Leto’s Morbius on Netflix was confirmed on Wednesday.

Morbius was the second Spider-Man antagonist that Sony attempted to turn into a stand-alone franchise. Critics ultimately gave the movie negative reviews, and it only made $162 million globally. But because to “It’s Morbbin Time” memes on social media, Morbius has become a cultural phenomena. Jared Leto himself joined in the amusement.
If you haven’t gotten the chance to see Morbius yet, you can check it out with the film currently streaming on Netflix. With a straightforward tweet of the now-iconic phrase, the streaming service announced on Wednesday that the title had been added to their extensive collection.
Morbius will be available on Netflix as part of Sony’s agreement with the service, which started this year.
Sony is continuing to develop their ambitions for a Spider-Man movie universe despite the failure of Morbius; projects focusing on Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web are now in production. There are plans for a third Venom movie as well.
Morbius, a film starring Jared Leto, Jared Harris, Matt Smith, Al Madrigal, Adria Arjona, and Tyrese Gibson, is directed by Daniel Espinosa from a screenplay by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. The project was developed by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, and Lucas Foster, with Palak Patel serving as the project manager for Sony.
