From November 24-28, that Jeremy Renner-Hailee Steinfeld series racked up over 1.5 million viewers in its first five days.
Essentially, the Wednesday-Sunday debut of Loki on Disney+ from June 9-13 remains the most viewed premiere of a Marvel series, or any series on the streaming service, ever. Thor’s younger brother drew 2.5 million homes in the United States of America. Loki also holds the record for the most viewed Disney+ season series finale in five days, with 1.9 million households in the United States between July 14 and 18.
These data came from Samba TV, which used a survey of 3 million SmartTV homes in the United States that tuned in for at least five minutes to the streaming series.
Turning Red just became Disney+’s most viewed feature film debut, garnering 2.5 million US households in its first weekend, according to Samba TV. Disney corroborated this story anecdotally, but on a worldwide scale.
There are 277,000 homes in the United Kingdom in its first five days, 88,800 households in Germany, and 11,800 households in Australia that watched Moon Knight. In comparison to Hawkeye: Over the course of its first Wednesday-Sunday, the series reached 199,500 households in the United Kingdom, 63,500 households in Germany, and 10,000 households in Australia. WandaVision launched on a Friday, whereas Marvel’s following live-action programs have debuted on Wednesdays.
Seattle (+39%), followed by Portland, OR (+34%), and Pittsburgh, PA (+32%) were the top three biggest markets for the Oscar Isaac- and Ethan Hawke-led Moon Knight.
