
The hit Spanish criminal drama series Money Heist (Spanish: La Casa de Papel) on Netflix has wrapped up, but the Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area adaptation has just embarked! The new K-drama will touch down internationally on Netflix on June 24. In the meanwhile, the streaming service has provided an exclusive first look at the cast and crew, including Yoo Ji-Tae in his titular role as The Professor.
As you can see in the following tweet, Yoo Ji Tae is tapped to take on the Professor role in the upcoming drama Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, and the cast will also include: Yoo Ji Tae as the Professor, Jun Jong Seo as Tokyo, Park Hae Soo as Berlin, Lee Won Jong as Moscow, Kim Ji Hoon as Helsinki, Jang Yoon Ju as Nairobi, Kim Ji Hun as Denver, Lee Hyun Woo as Rio, Lee Kyu Ho as Oslo.
In addition to the new pictures, Netflix has also dropped the first trailer for Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, which hints at the union of North and South Korea on forming a new kind of money. Although this series is labeled as a “remake,” it is evident from the teaser trailer that there are significant changes.
There will be a total of 12 episodes when Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area arrives on Netflix on June 24th.
