Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the first Meg 2: The Trench trailer, giving audiences a preview of the shark movie sequel. The movie is scheduled to premiere on August 4, 2023, in theaters.

Based on Steve Alten’s book The Trench, Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, and Dean Georgaris wrote Meg 2: The Trench. Starring Jason Statham, Wu Jing, Skyler Samuels, Sienna Guillory, Cliff Curtis, Page Kennedy, Shuya Sophia Cai, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta, the movie is directed by Ben Wheatley.
