It goes without saying that Henry Cavill‘s time in the DC Extended Universe could have been one of the best parts of the franchise, but Warner Bros. and DC Films have repeatedly snubbed fans, and Cavill is still not a part of the franchise’s upcoming slate, despite his outstanding performance as Superman.

This is why many fans have been clamoring for the British actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has long been reported to be in his plans. Cavill is presently the main option to portray Brian Braddock aka Captain Britain in the MCU, according to rumors.
While some fans are already on board with the notion, Marvel Studios’ latest statement has prompted a new wave of speculation about the actor’s possible MCU role. Many people are already clamoring for Cavill to feature in Destin Daniel Cretton’s next Wonder Man film.
While I still feel that playing a comic book character other than the Man of Steel would be a step down for Henry, there’s no denying that the actor’s time is running out and he’s not getting any younger.
Now, one may expect that the DCEU’s overall reset following The Flash, along with Warner Bros. Discovery’s new direction, will do “wonders” for Cavill’s DCEU career. If that’s not the case, I guess he’ll have to put up his Superman cape and look for work somewhere else.
However, Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man project remains a closely guarded secret.
