Oscar winner Ben Kingsley will head back to the Marvel/Disney+ series Wonder Man as Trevor Slattery.

Slattery is a failed actor who portrayed Iron Man 3’s major antagonist, The Mandarin. Tony Stark, however, foils him. In last year’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Slattery made his comeback as a good person, finally siding with the superhero. The Mandarin, also known as Shang-father, Chi’s Xu Wenwu, captures him. The figure also appeared in the short film All Hail the King, in which he is incarcerated and freed by the actual Mandarin’s associates.
Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton serves as an executive producer on Wonder Man.
Wonder Man revolves around Simons Williams, the scion of a rich industrialist who sees his firm go down in flames at the hands of Tony Stark’s Stark Industries in the comics. Williams joins forces with the villain Baron Zemo, who gives him the ionic skill of extreme strength. Wonder Man, who was formerly the Avengers’ enemy, eventually joined forces with them.
