The actor joins a cast that is led by Sebastian Stan and Florence Pugh.
The rising star Ayo Edebiri, best known for his role in The Bear, has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to reports, Edebiri will be joining the Thunderbolts, a movie that focuses on villains.

Edebiri gained notoriety last year thanks to The Bear, a Hulu critically acclaimed film set in a hectic Chicago sandwich business. She was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for her performance as Sydney Adamu. Her work on the Netflix animated series Big Mouth is also well known.
In Thunderbolts, a group of Marvel anti-heroes, villains, or other shady characters are the focus. At D23 last year, Marvel revealed that the group would include Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Julia.
Eric Pearson, who wrote the screenplay for Black Widow, is directing Jake Schreier, known for Robot & Frank.
Edebiri is represented by CAA, Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, and Range Media Partners. She recently made her Sundance debut in the Ben Platt movie Theater Camp.
