There will be a Steven Yeun in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Steven Yeun has joined the Thunderbolts ensemble, which means he will soon be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to reports, actor Steven Yeun, who gained notoriety for playing Glenn Rhee on the AMC series The Walking Dead, has joined the cast of the upcoming Thunderbolts film from Marvel Studios. Although Yeun’s Thunderbolts character’s identity is a secret, the actor is reportedly portraying a significant figure with a bright future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans speculate that Thunderbolts actor Steven Yeun could be portraying The Sentry. Superhero The Sentry possesses superhuman strength and the ability to fly, but he also has a darker side and battles with mental health problems. The character has alternated between being a hero and a villain in the comics, and his complicated past may offer interest to the MCU.

At Marvel’s July presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, Thunderbolts was revealed. The project is being directed by Robot & Frank and Paper Towns director Jake Schreier from a screenplay by Black Widow writer Eric Pearson.

Along with Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss plays Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in Thunderbolts alongside Wyatt Russell as John Walker, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as the Ghost, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss as Red Guardian. Harrison Ford was just cast in the project to play Thunderbolt Ross in place of the late William Hurt.

The current release date for Thunderbolts is July 26, 2024.
