James Gunn‘s return as writer and director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is one aspect that has been confirmed. Following the box office success of the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies, Gunn was first tapped to helm the picture, but he was briefly removed from the project after some contentious tweets from his earlier career reappeared. Gunn was rehired for the project, though, following a public outcry from the Guardians of the Galaxy cast and fans. Due to his responsibilities to DC Studios, Vol. 3 will be his final Marvel film.
James Gunn wrote and directed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaa, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone, Will Poulter, Chukwudi Iwuji, and Maria Bakalova.
