Richard Rider, also known as Nova, seems to be heading the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as some sources buzz that a Nova project is developed by Marvel with Moon Knight screenwriter Sabir Pirzada joining to pen. At the moment, it is uncertain if this will be a feature film or a limited series on Disney+. Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, will once again serve as producer.
Nova made his debut in a 1976 issue of Super Adventures as a member of the interplanetary police force known as the Nova Corps, where he is empowered superhuman powers like as extraordinary strength, flying, and resistance to hurt. While the character did not have many encounters with key figures from the current or previous MCU, he did combat the Skrulls, who play a significant role in recent and forthcoming Marvel films such as Captain Marvel and the limited series Secret Invasion.

As with so many other writers who get a high-profile Marvel project to develop, Pirzada rose through the ranks of Marvel’s writing community, most recently contributing to the Moon Knight series, which launches on Disney+ on March 30.
