After a fantastic run at the international box office, the newest Marvel Studios picture, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has finally made it to Disney+. Naturally, this means that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are now replaying the film repeatedly and closely examining each scene in search of Easter eggs and surprises. One of those fans noticed an intriguing error in Doctor Strange’s past regarding one of the most talked-about MCU artifacts: Avengers Tower.
In the present MCU reality, it is unknown who is the owner of Avengers Tower, however, a scene from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gives the impression that it is no longer standing. One fan noted that the opening fight in Doctor Strange features the MetLife Building, which is the actual structure that stands in place of Avengers Towers in the MCU. Look at this!
The Avengers Tower won’t likely return to its original state, but there are no signs that the MCU is just dismissing it. There will likely be some sort of narrative describing who the new owners of the structure are and what role they will have in the business.
