Maria Bakalova’s portrayal as Cosmo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been disclosed by Marvel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Following his long trip back to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James Gunn headed back to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. The sequel has already wrapped filming and will be released in cinemas next May. Will Poulter will play Adam Warlock in the last installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, while Peacemaker star Chukwudi Iwuji portrays the High Evolutionary.
Maria Bakalova, the breakthrough star of Borat II, is now on board Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con that she portrayed Cosmo. Cosmo is a Guardian of the Galaxy member in the comics and has previously featured in the first two films and What If…? With Bakalova portraying Cosmo in the imminent sequel, the Spacedog may be expected to play a considerably larger role. Marvel Studios also dropped a new logo for the film, which you can see below.
