M.O.D.O.K. Comes To An End Just After First Season On Hulu

After one season, the Marvel stop-motion animated comedy M.O.D.O.K. has been canceled.

The series revolves around M.O.D.O.K., an acronym for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, as he juggled his family life after being removed from his position as the head of the criminal organization A.I.M. (which stands for Advanced Idea Mechanics).

The Patton Oswalt-led series debuted its first season of 10 episodes in May 2021. The series also included notable stars such as Melissa Fumero and Ben Schwartz, in addition to Patton Oswalt. M.O.D.O.K. was technically a Marvel series, although it was never a part of the MCU. This is in part because the series was produced by Marvel Television, which has since been taken over by Marvel Studios.

Hit Monkey, a 2D animated series that premiered its first season on Hulu in November, is another Marvel cartoon available on the streaming service. Hit Monkey has also not been renewed for a second season, so fans can prepare for a similar demise.
