For its upcoming live-action/animated picture Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, based on Bernard Waber’s children’s book of the same name, Sony Pictures has released the first teaser trailer. It is slated to hit cinemas on Friday, October 7.

Our first glimpse at the singing crocodile, voiced by Grammy nominee Shawn Mendes, can be found in the Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile trailer, which you can view below. Additionally, it emphasizes how amusingly individuals respond when they first meet Lyle.
Will Speck and Josh Gordon are the film’s director and producer, while Will Davis wrote the script. Starring in it are Javier Bardem, Winslow Fegley, Constance Wu, Shawn Mendes, Scoot McNairy, and Brett Gelman.
Hutch Parker is slated as a producer, while the executive producers are Kevin K. Vafi, Dan Wilson, Benj Pasek, Robert J. Dohrmann, Tarak Ben Ammar, Justin Paul, and Andy Mitchell.
Shawn Mendes will sing original songs from Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile that were penned by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, the lyricists of The Greatest Showman. Ari Afsar, Emily Gardner Xu Hall, Mark Sonnenblick, and Joriah Kwamé collaborate with Pasek and Paul on the songwriting for the movie.
