Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, has stated that Loki is the most-watched Marvel series on Disney Plus.
Loki, a new Disney Plus series starring Tom Hiddleston, made its debut on Disney Plus in 2017. It didn’t take long for the show to make a splash as a streaming service phenomenon, with the most successful premiere of any Marvel series. The subsequent series, Hawkeye, on the other hand, immediately demonstrated that these numbers were impossible to beat and fell behind it by almost 40 percent.
Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, made an appearance at a Disney presentation, where he confirmed that the show Loki was in fact the most-watched show on Disney Plus. However, the exact numbers are still kept under wraps, and it was announced that filming for the second season is slated to begin within the next few weeks with all of the show’s stars returning:
The series, directed by Kate Herron and written by Michael Waldron, stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Micahel Waldron, who was the showrunner for the first season of Loki, has passed his torch onto Loki season one writer Eric Martin to act as showrunner for season 2. The series’ core cast will also make a comeback.
Loki season 1 is now available to stream on Disney Plus.
