The cast, which also includes Sydney Agudong, Maia Kealoha, Billy Magnussen, Zach Galifianakis, and Courtney B. Vance, is completed by Tia Carrere and Amy Hill.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Chris Sanders is nearing completion of talks to voice Stitch in Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch.
Amy Hill will portray a new character named Tt, while Tia Carrere, who provided the voice of Nani in the previous movie, will play the newly created Mrs. Kekoa.
In the 2002 film Lilo & Stitch and the subsequent television series Lilo & Stitch: The Series (2003–2006), Sanders, who co-wrote and co-directed the first film with Dean DeBlois, provided the voice for the creature he also designed.
Lilo is played by newcomer Maia Kealoha, while Nani is played by Sydney Elizebeth Agudong. Last week, Kahiau Machado was cast in the role of David Kawena, but Kaipot Dudoit has already been replaced. Machado’s prior social media tweets that contained racist epithets were discovered during Disney’s screening procedure. Disney did not formally confirm Machado’s casting.
Billy Magnussen, who played Pleakley, and Courtney B. Vance, who played Cobra Bubbles, completed the cast. Jumba actor Zach Galifianakis joined the group in February.
The adaptation, which will have a significant distribution on Disney+, is being directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the creator of the indie darling and Oscar candidate for best-animated movie Marcel the Shell With Shoes On. In Hawaii, production has officially begun.
The story, which primarily takes place in Hawaii, tells the story of Lilo, a lonely human girl, and Stitch, an alien who was genetically engineered to be a destructive force. In the face of nosy social workers and pursuing aliens, the two bond over a common sense of family and rescue the day.
On an $80 million budget, the 2002 original became a cult hit with worldwide box office receipts of almost $273 million. Additionally, it received a nomination for the 75th Academy Awards’ best-animated picture.
