Summer break is coming up for the Star Wars prequel trilogy’s protagonists. A fresh clip from the forthcoming Disney+ animated special LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation has been made available on the Star Wars YouTube account. On August 5, the special will make its debut.

With the intention of having fun, Finn (Omar Miller) takes Poe Dameron (Jake Green), Chewbacca, C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), R2-D2, BB-8, Rose (Kelly Marie Tran), and Rey Skywalker (Helen Sadler) aboard the Halcyon, a magnificent Galactic Starcruiser. A hologram of Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams), the recently appointed ambassador for the starline, welcomes the visitors. Although Finn is ecstatic, Poe and Rose are unsure if the heroes should take vacations. However, Finn persuades Poe to enjoy his vacation by demonstrating all of the numerous activities on the starcruiser. Poe then creates a timetable for the group, including five minutes of relaxation time between the shuffleboard and the engineering room session.
David Shayne wrote the script for LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation. He also serves as an executive producer for the special while Ken Cunningham directed the film. The special’s executive producers are James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, Josh Rimes, Jason Cosler, Jill Wilfert, Jennifer Twiner Mccarron, and Keith Malone. LEGO Star Wars characters also appeared in The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special in 2020 and LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales in 2021.
One of the Star Wars projects to be launched on Disney+ in 2022 is LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation. On September 28, The Bad Batch, an animated series that is a spin-off of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, will debut its second season. This fall marks the debut of the new animated program Tales of the Jedi. The live-action premiere of the Rogue One prequel Andor is set for August 31.
