The trailer for Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber has been released by Showtime. This is the early part of new anthology production about business negotiations that transformed the world as ever, for positive or negative. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars in the early part as Uber CEO Travis Kalanick.
The trailer shows us Kalanick, a person who has an insightful vision with many aspirations, is always ready to do whatever it needs to form his company. That indicates joining some of the more remarkable participants of US financial markets, such as The Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington (Uma Thurman), who would be the first woman to participate in the ranks of renowned app board of supervisors. Also, the trailer presents the way Kalanick sought out Bill Gurley (Kyle Chandler) to get enough budget for him to start Uber, leading to both people coming to be joint founders of one of the most widespread applications on the planet.
The Battle for Uber will also address the internal scruffles that rock the company. According to the trailer, the gaining of Uber expanded Kalanick’s self-esteem to the point where he didn’t concern about the legitimacy to evaluate people he worked with. In contrast, the preview teases that Kalanick had the feeling of being continuously intimidated by being forced out of the company he helped build, which only rockets his unpredictable manner. Therefore, in place of just complimenting Uber’s renewal, Showtime’s new series commits to discovering the worst things that occur at the back of a large company’s doors, far from the public’s eye.

Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber depended on the top-selling book of a similar title by writer Mike Isaac. The show is hosted by hosts Brian Koppelman (Billions), Beth Shacter (Score), and David Levien (Ocean’s Thirteen). As a result of its anthology format, Uber’s Battle for Success could help Showtime grow new seasons that concentrate on other tumultuous Silicon Valley stories.
The Battle for Uber also has an attendance of Hank Azaria as Apple CEO Tim Cook, Elisabeth Shue, Jon Bass, Bridget Gao Hollitt, Virginia Kull, Amanda Brooks, Annie Chang, Erinn Ruth, Mishka Thébaud, Babak Tafti, Darren Pettie, Noah Weisberg, Mark Gessner, Kerry Bishé and Joel Kelley Dauten.
Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber is launched on Showtime on Sunday, February 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Find out the new trailer as follow.
Here’s Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber formal summary:
Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber talks about one of Silicon Valley’s most fruitful and most devastating unicorns, Uber. Revolving around Kalanick (Gordon-Levitt) and his sometimes chaotic connection with his adviser Gurley (Chandler), the Showtime series will describe the roller coaster ride of the initial transport company, possibly showing the peaks and bottoms of Silicon Valley. Even in the middle of the radical blowing wrought in the global tech capital, Uber sticks out as both a feat and a cautionary tale, including internal and external fights with unforeseeable outcomes.
