Universal Pictures has released a behind-the-scenes look at Nope, Jordan Peele‘s next horror thriller, which is set to enter cinemas on July 22.

The video includes commentary from the actors and crew on Peele‘s big ambition, which differs from the scope of his previous two films. It also features behind-the-scenes video, which teases its magnitude and breadth while also highlighting the people that helped bring it to life.
In the player below, you can see the Nope featurette:
Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya, who worked with Peele on the critically acclaimed 2017 film Get Out, will play the lead role in Nope, which is being billed as a vast horror epic. He is joined by actors Keke Palmer (Hustle) and Oscar-nominated Steven Yeun (Minari), who play locals in a desolate gulch in inland California who have seen a startling discovery.
Brandon Perea, Donna Mills, Wrenn Schmidt, Keith David, Eddie Jemison, Barbie Ferreira, Michael Wincott, Terry Notary, Oz Perkins, Andrew Patrick Ralston, and Jennifer Lafleur are among the additional cast members.
Although much information regarding the project’s characters and narrative is currently being withheld, it is anticipated that, like Peele‘s prior two directorial efforts, it will be a psychological horror thriller with socially aware themes relating to race and society.
