Romeo leads to Juliet!

The tragic relationship between the DC Comics characters depicted by Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga is alluded to in the working title of Joker: Folie à Deux.
Following in the footsteps of the original Joker film, which went by the working title “Romeo,” Joker: Folie à Deux is currently in production under the working title “Juliet.” The titles allude to William Shakespeare’s famous tragedy Romeo and Juliet. In New York City, the movie is now in production.
Joker accompanied Arthur Fleck, played by Joaquin Phoenix when he changed into the Clown Prince of Crime, and it now seems that Lady Gaga’s portrayal of the DC Comics villain in Folie à Deux, Harleen Quinzel, will join him on his journey into lunacy. Phoenix won an Oscar for his The Joker depiction.
Given that the original movie closed off with Arthur Fleck in Arkham State Hospital, it’s likely that Harleen Quinzel will debut as the Joker’s psychiatrist, as she has in previous iterations. The sequel’s narrative is being kept hidden, but it is predicted that Arkham will play a significant role.
The director of the first Joker film, Todd Phillips, will assume the helm for Folie à Deux, adapting a screenplay he co-wrote with Scott Silver. The film is now in production for an October 2024 release.
Harry Lawtey, Zazie Beetz, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Brendan Gleeson are also featured in the cast of Folie à Deux.
The Joker movie is currently available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital formats.
